Notice that all 8 angles are composed of only TWO unique values: 4 acute angles (all equal to 65°) and 4 obtuse angles (all equal to 115°)! Any acute angle + any obtuse angle = 180°.

NCERT Mnemonic Trick: Remember "F" for Corresponding, "Z" for Alternate Interior, and "C" for Co-interior supplementary angles!

Key Geometrical Properties
Lines Intersecting at 90°

When two lines intersect such that the angle between them is a right angle (90°), they are called perpendicular lines (written as l ⊥ m).

Notice that if one angle is 90°, all 4 adjacent angles around the intersection are strictly 90°!
Shortest Distance Theorem:
Of all the line segments that can be drawn to a given line from an exterior point, the perpendicular line segment is the shortest!

    ∠1 = 65° and ∠5 = 65°
  • 2. Alternate Interior Angles: Equal
    ∠3 = 65° and ∠6 = 65°
  • 3. Co-Interior Angles Sum: 180° (Supp.)
    ∠4 + ∠6 = 115° + 65° = 180°
Euclid's 5th Postulate: If interior angles on one side add up to less than 180°, the two lines will eventually intersect on that side if extended indefinitely!
